TiO2 begins with top-quality clear # 1 Radiata Pine that is harvested from well managed and sustainable forests in Chile and sourced directly from one mill.
TiO2 is coated with a three-step process. It starts with a one coat application of high performance soya oil alkyd with a deep penetrating wood conditioner package that’s fortified with Titanium Dioxide for increased opacity. After the oil primer is dry, it’s followed by a two coat application of a durable high performance cross-linking acrylic latex topcoat.
The end result is a fully reversible board that speeds installation time, minimizes waste, is safe for exterior and interior applications and reduces painting costs in the field.
All 16′ 100% defect-free Chilean Radiata Pine that are kiln dried to 10% to 12% moisture content.
Clear wood fiber that is expertly finger-jointed and edge-glued with a top-quality exterior grade Emulsion Polymer Isocyanate (EPI) adhesive for dimensional stability.
Once the wood has fully acclimated, the moisture content of the raw boards are checked prior to starting the coating function.
