Boston Cedar Return Policy

  • Boston Cedar will only accept returns of first quality, 100% resalable stock items.
  • RMA’s will only be considered for materials delivered to the dealer on account within the previous 30 days.
  • Would you personally buy the item in the condition it is in?
  • It is the responsibility of the dealer to either fax or email a copy of the Boston Cedar Order Acknowledgement or Invoice with the requested return item circled to their respective Inside Salesperson at 508.851.3390 and agree to a 20% restock fee.
  • All return material requests over $500.00 must be inspected by the Boston Cedar Outside Sales Representative prior to RMA documentation approval. RMA’s will not be processed without an approval from the Boston Cedar territory representative along with photographs sent to the Purchasing Director.
  • Custom manufactured special orders such as private label TYPAR will not be considered for RMA and therefore are not eligible for credit.
  • Any RMA request exceeding $2,000 requires sales management approval.
  • Boston Cedar drivers are not permitted to accept any return until the BC Order Acknowledgement or invoice has been submitted by the customer and approval has been granted by the Boston Cedar sales office. Boston Cedar drivers do not have the authority to determine what is and what is not considered resalable.   • If after two attempts within 30 days to pick up the authorized return and the return is not available for the Boston Cedar driver, Boston Cedar will consider the RMA closed and no credit will be issued.
  • Final credit determination will be subject to physical inspection after the material is returned to Boston Cedar and is subject to a 20% restock fee. Material that has been returned to Boston Cedar that has been opened or is non-salable condition, taped shut, or damaged, etc. will not be credited.
